Sandi Ericzon Bruns

Sandi Ericzon Bruns holds degrees in design, fashion and textiles from the University of Iowa, doing graduate work there and at the University of Wisconsin before earning a BFA equivalent and an MFA in printmaking from the University of Hawaii.

Her prints have won her various awards, including a Purchase Award from the Smithsonian Institute’s Young Printmakers show.

In San Francisco, she exhibited with the William Sawyer Gallery and was a member of San Francisco Women Artists.

After raising two children and doing commercial and commission work for over 20 years, she became involved in public art projects and in both Omaha, Nebraska and Summit County, Colorado. Recent one–woman exhibitions were hosted at the Breckenridge Theatre Gallery, Dillon’s Gallery 108, the Sunderland Gallery of the Cathedral Arts Project in Omaha, and Summit County Art Council’s Arts Alive Gallery in Breckenridge.
